In laboratory testing, ShieldPro products meet American ballistic resistance standards for high velocity projectiles as approved by the US National Institute of Justice (“NIJ”). Our bullet-resistant products are developed, constructed, and tested to comply with the ballistics performance standard NIJ-STD-0108.01 – Level III (Modified).
NIJ Level III (Modified) ballistics test standards include: 5.56 x 45mm – M855 and 5.56 x 45mm – M193
We conduct NIJ-standard ballistics resistance tests by engaging the 80 years of testing experience and expertise offered by H.P. White Laboratory in Street, Maryland. H.P. White is an NIJ-certified independent test laboratory and a respected world leader in military and law enforcement ballistics resistance testing programs.
